Franzie is a band from Kroměříž, Czech Republic, which came out of the ashes of previous formation called Superego Kid. Desire to be more experimental and float between genres gave space to create Franzie.
The music is built around technical and often changing instrumental parts which meet melodic female vocal and czech lyrics. Walls of noise and vocal explosions often merge with ambient parts. Urgency, polyrhythms and frenziness also define musical expression of the five.
Band releases first debut album Prvoroj in 2021.
Franzie je hudební skupina z Kroměříže, která vznikla z popela dřívějšího tělesa Superego Kid. Touha více experimentovat a proplouvat mezi žánry dala prostor pro vznik Franzie.
Franzie staví svou hudbu na technických a často se měnících instrumentálních pasážích, které se protkávají s melodickým ženským vokálem a českými texty. Noisové plochy a výkřiky často přechází v ambientní pasáže. Naléhavost, polyrytmika a dravost také charakterizují hudební vyjádření této pětice.
Skupina vydává v roce 2021 své debutové album s názvem Prvoroj.
